The Mind

A
t the outset, let us take a look at how the human mind works. Our mind is composed of the conscious  mind (10%) and subconscious mind(90%).

Most of the time, it is the conscious mind which controls our reactions, body functions, thought process, etc. The vast resource of the subconscious mind remains unexplored. The subconscious  is 6000 times more powerful than the conscious  mind. Hypnotherapy takes us to the depths of the subconscious mind, which holds the key to identifying the root cause of our limitations.

Most of our conscious decisions, like, our body movements, our thoughts, and emotions are governed by our conscious mind which is merely, as aforementioned, 10%. The vast resource of the subconscious mind is more or less left underutilized throughout our lives. This part of our mind holds to key to most of our weaknesses, phobias, negative thoughts and habits.

Some of the causes are in the modern memory (Present Life), however, majority of them lie buried.

Many physical complaints, fears, phobias, compulsions, preferences, dislikes and personality traits in the present life originate from former lives (Fiore, 1978). Why do we
at times feel sudden hatred or love for someone, something, or someplace immensely without any rhyme or reason? According to Newton- "To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction." (Third Law of Motion)

Hatred or love in the above case is a reaction.
If we don’t happen to remember the immediate cause of our rather sudden intense reaction,  the roots, for sure, lie somewhere deeper - in this case, our subconscious mind- the storehouse of our previous lifetime memories.

Even the thought of a delicious dish may make our mouths water. In this case what is the communication that takes place inside the subconscious mind?

The thought-body of the mind influences the emotional-body, which in turn influences the energy-body. It is this energy-body which brings about the reaction (in this case mouth-watering) in the physical body. This is how our mind reacts to each and every experience that it goes through. This experience in turn is stored in the huge storehouse of the subconscious mind. Every time we go through a similar experience, we react in the same way as the behaviour pattern/belief system stored in the subconscious mind.

There are four components in the various phases of life which form our belief system. They are :
  • thought
  • emotion
  • energy
  • physical body
These four components creating the  belief system become set patterns in our consciousness which  manifests similar experiences for us over and over again. This is where we become a prisoner of our own thoughts. For, the set pattern of belief in our subconscious mind then becomes the driving force  to make our reactions compulsively repetitive to the similar experiences we keep drawing in our life, which is a vicious circle victimising us. The irony here is we become imprisoned by our own cyclic thoughts and reactions.

Hypnotherapy helps in breaking these cyclic patterns we experience by altering our thoughts and by re-programming or discarding our previous set of belief systems and patterns, thus freeing us of the prison of our own making.
Hypnotherapy infact goes a step ahead by not just breaking the pattern but also by eradicating and healing the root cause of the whole cycle, thus being an efficient tool of transformation for the personality as a whole.

  1. It's not too late... the angel said.
Even though the world's a mess...
Even though you're not as young...
Even though you've made mistakes and have been afraid
    It's not too late...
And then I saw the world through the angels' eyes...
I saw the colors I could paint
    The bridges I could build
The lives that I could touch
The dreams that could still come true
And it became very clear to me...
    That it's not too late.

  2. For all these years of my life I had a strong feeling that, 'I am leading my life'. Little did I know that I was actually not.

In my first session with Vishal, he helped me realise that I was actually dedicating my life to everyone other than myself. I had no clue that this thought process was the root cause for multiple roadblocks in my personal and professional life.

Vishal uncovered my hidden fears and helped me discover my true self. After this fantastic session, I got the opportunity to have another session wherein I was introduced to Emotional Empowerment Technique (EET). It was a great experience to release the burden, which I had been carrying for years, in just few hours.

Thank you Vishal, you are truly great! May God shower his choicest blessings on you and your loved ones in all walks of life.

  3. "Take a break", "let it go" were just phrases to me all these years. I had said this and heard them a countless number of times all my adult life. Little did I know that there is so much these phrases mean.

I have read quite a few self-help books. I did understand them as well. Yet, there was this void, those thoughts that no book could answer. Putting the teachings into perspective and implementing them was a challenge.

It is Vishal who made me realize the true meaning of these phrases and the meaning of a whole lot of things. There were things that were right in front of me and yet were invisible. Words cannot express the feeling I get when the smoke screen suddenly cleared and I got to see something that was always present yet not visible to my eyes. The realization has been exhilarating, to say the least.

Thank you Vishal, for the wonderful, eye (of the mind) opening sessions. If not for you and your sessions, I would have been perhaps lost in the labyrinth that life had become.
